Now you might not believe it, but I can fit all of this into it...
So there are a few things in here I won't cover - I've also got a BB cream from Maybelline, some Barry M eye shadow, and eye shadow brush, but I don't tend to use these that much. So I'll just stick to the foundation routine.
First, the primer.
This is Prime Time by bare Minerals. Sinks into the skin quickly so you can get working on your foundation, plus it's very small so fits easily into the bag.
Next, a green tinted corrector stick.
I've had this a while and there's probably a newer one out there but I only use a small amount each time. The green cancels out any redness caused by blemishes.
Then I apply a liquid concealer. I like the Rimmel match perfection concealer.
Sometimes I top this up with another concealer stick for more coverage. I use the Collection cover up stick to even out the skin.
Next, the foundation.
I love this foundation. I used to use the Maybelline dream matte mousse, which I also like, but this is a really luminous foundation that looks less heavy. I apply it using this:
Then I might top up any bits that need concealing with this:
I don't use too much of this, but it does work really well.
Then I use a blusher - this is a matte mousse one from Maybelline:
I find the matte finish really good and I like that I can apply it with my finger so I can blend it really well and control how much colour I'm adding to my cheeks.
I apply this crease proof eye shadow base from Loreal because I find it holds any other make up really well.
I curl my eyelashes using this handy and compact eyelash curler.
I bought this while travelling in Asia - it was really cheap and I love how easy it is to fold up and pop into the bag.
I then set it all in place with a Maybelline mineral veil powder in 'translucent'. I use a bare Minerals brush, which is a good size to fit into the bag. The only reason I don't use a bare Minerals powder is because I haven't yet found one to match my skin tone!
Lastly, I apply a few dots of this:
The High Beam by benefit adds a little shine to the make up - just enough to highlight your cheek bones.
And that's it! It doesn't take too long. I then apply a lick of eye liner and mascara, and am ready to go!
